​Thomas J. Perrelli

Thomas J. Perrelli is a Partner at Jenner & Block LLP, having re-joined Jenner in 2012 after serving for three years as Associate Attorney General of the United States.  In his capacity as Associate Attorney General, Mr. Perrelli was responsible for the Department’s Civil, Antitrust, Civil Rights, Environment and Natural Resources, and Tax Divisions, the United States Trustee Program, the Office of Justice Programs and the Office on Violence Against Women, among others.  As Associate Attorney General, Mr. Perrelli led the Government’s efforts in negotiating the National Mortgage Settlement, a $25 billion settlement with the nation’s five largest mortgage servicers to address mortgage servicing, foreclosure, and bankruptcy abuses.  Mr. Perrelli is the founder and Chair of Jenner & Block’s Government Controversies and Public Policy Litigation Practice.
 
Brian Hauck
 
Brian Hauck is a Partner at Jenner & Block LLP and is a member of the Government Controversies and Public Policy Litigation Practice.  A veteran of the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Hauck has extensive experience working with state and federal agencies across the United States on financial, consumer, and other public policy issues of national importance.  He plays an active role in the firm’s monitoring and compliance work, including in the education space, and has extensive experience representing educational clients on issues ranging from government contracts to First Amendment freedoms.  His work at the Justice Department included some of the most high-profile matters of our time.

Elizabeth C. Bullock

Elizabeth C. Bullock is an associate in the Litigation Department at Jenner & Block.  She joined the firm in 2012.  Ms. Bullock has extensive experience in the higher education sector.  Her experience with higher education clients includes defending institutions in False Claims Act investigations, advising universities on questions relating to compliance with regulatory issues including Federal Student Aid regulations and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and representing universities in NCAA enforcement proceedings.
